In-production inspections

What are in-production inspections?

In-production inspections are an additional service which is not directly related to the product certification process, and is dedicated mainly to importers and purchasers of individual product batches. They are conducted while the products are being manufactured, most frequently with 20% or 80% of the production process being complete. Complete, packed and dispatch-ready products are checked during these inspections.

What is verified during in-production inspections?

  • production quality,
  • product appearance,
  • sizes,
  • functionality,
  • weight,
  • accessories,
  • labelling and designation,
  • packaging,
  • conformity with the pattern.

Acceptance Quality Limit principles are used during the in-production inspection (AQL).
